Pintrendo Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

Last updated: November 10, 2026

The Privacy Policy explains how Pintrendo (“Pintrendo”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company owned and operated by Hemant Sarkar and accessible through the website at https://pintrendo.com, deals with your personal data whenever you use the website or any of our products and services. The policy is clearly laid out.

1. Summary

It is not necessary to set up an account in order to use our tools, and we never save the keywords you enter, the Pinterest Pin URL, the text, or the images.

Most of the processing takes place in your browser.

When a request needs to be sent to a server or a worker, they are given only the information essential to carrying out that particular request and then the result is returned to you.

Google AdSense is used for displaying advertisements and for any analytics that may be carried out, it uses cookies and similar technologies.

Further details are available in our Cookie Policy. Your personal information is not sold.

2. Details regarding ourselves and our contact information

Pintrendo is an independent project that is owned and managed by Hemant Sarkar in India. Should you have any questions or requests relating to privacy, you can send an email to hhemaantsarkar@yahoo.com or use the contact page. You may also use the contact page.

3. Information we process

3.1 The information that you give to our tools

The backend APIs that you use take the seed keyword you enter and carry out searches for public search suggestions, analyse the data, and then give you the results.

We do not save the information you enter in our database or in any way connect it to you.

  1. The Pin Annotation Extractor has the backend APIs retrieve the page by processing the public Pinterest Pin URL in order to extract the annotations that are visible to the public; neither the URL you enter nor the output data is stored.
  2. The Pinterest Keyword Clusterer and Board Namer groups your keywords within your browser. Once again, a Cloudflare Worker is used as the processor for the grouping function and the front end’s role is merely to display that logic in an organised manner. Your keyword lists are not stored.
  3. The Pinterest AI text detector carries out the analysis of the text in your browser by using logic stored in a Cloudflare worker and involving a number of AI language models in the process. Our system does not store your text.
  4. The image analysis through Pinterest AI Image Detector takes place on your device, the detector could download an ONNX model to your browser and then run it locally, so your image is not sent to us and our system does not store your images.

3.2 Technical information which is automatically collected

Like most websites, our system for hosting and delivering content may automatically gather ordinary technical information while you are browsing it – for instance, your IP address, the type of browser and its version, the type of device, the operating system, the page you came from, the pages you have viewed, and the date and time of the request.

This information is used for security purposes, to prevent abuse, to ensure good performance and to keep the site running.

Our infrastructure providers retain the short-term logs and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

3.3 Cookies, analytics and advertising data

We and our partners will be using cookies and other similar technologies for analytical reasons and for advertising purposes. If you would like to know more about this, including how to manage them, please see our Cookie Policy.

3.4 The information that you send us directly

Should you send us an e-mail or complete the contact form, we will note down your name, email address and any other details that you provide in your message and will use that information exclusively for the purpose of replying to you.

Substack: The newsletter is handled through Substack. On subscribing, Substack records and keeps your email address and any other details that you give it, and it is also in charge of sending out the emails. We can see which people have subscribed and have access to some basic information about their level of engagement, and we use your email address exclusively for sending you Pintrendo updates, guides, and offers. Every email includes a link allowing you to unsubscribe and you can do so at any time. Substack processes your data in line with its own privacy policy, which is available at https://substack.com/privacy.

Gumroad: You can buy our Pinterest guide and Pinterest services through Gumroad. When you make a purchase, you go through the checkout process on Gumroad, since it is this platform that collects and handles your payment and billing information. We never receive or keep your full card details. We obtain order information from Gumroad, such as your name, email address, country, and the product you have purchased, so that we can send out your order, provide you with support, and keep our business and tax records up to date. The manner in which Gumroad deals with your data is set out in its privacy policy at https://gumroad.com/privacy.

Pinterest Services: If you get us to carry out Pinterest services, we will use the contact details, business information, and any account access which you choose to give us exclusively for the purpose of carrying out that particular work and will not use them for any other purpose.

4. The use of information

We use information to:

operate, secure, and improve the website and tools;

understand, in aggregate, how the site is used;

show advertising that supports the free tools;

respond to your messages and requests;

Please accept our terms and carry out our legal obligations.

5. The legal basis (in the EEA, in the UK and in other similar regions)

Where GDPR and other similar laws are in force, our actions are based on the following grounds: consent (in the case of non-essential cookies, personalized advertising, and analytics which are necessary); legitimate interests (in order to secure and improve the site and to prevent abuse); contract (when carrying out a service that you have asked for, for example by making a purchase); and legal obligation where this applies. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as described in the Cookie Policy.

6. Advertising and vendors other than the company itself

At the moment we are using or plan to use Google AdSense to display ads.

Cookies are used by third parties, for example Google, to show advertisements that are based on the user’s previous visits to this website and to other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show ads based on your visit to our site and/or to other websites on the Internet.

You are able to stop getting personalised advertising by going to Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com or by choosing to opt out of certain third-party vendors who use cookies in order to provide personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info.

If you wish to find out how Google uses data from websites which make use of its services, you should go to https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Personalisation and non-essential cookies will only appear after you have given your consent through our consent banner.

We cannot exercise any control over cookies or the practices of third-party vendors. You should look at their individual privacy policies.

7. Sharing our information

We never sell out your personal information. The only information we share is with:

The companies responsible for hosting, delivering the content and providing security for the website and the backend workers (for example Cloudflare);

If the analytics provider (for example Google Analytics) is enabled;

Advertising partners such as Google AdSense;

Providers of AI or APIs gave specific tool features (for example, groq, proprietary codes, and logic).

Substack, which runs our mailing list and stores subscriber email addresses;

Gumroad, which processes payments and checkout for our guide and services;

When authorities or advisors are required by law or need to protect rights and safety.

These companies carry out actions on our behalf or in line with their own privacy policies and may process your data in countries other than yours, for example in the United States. In such cases, we employ appropriate safeguards for the international transfer of data.

8. Data retention

Inputs for tools are not stored; the messages you send us are retained only for as long as is necessary to reply to them and for reasonable record-keeping purposes. Analytics and advertising data are held in accordance with the settings of the respective providers.

9. Your rights

Depending on which personal data you have, you may be entitled to request access to it, have it corrected or deleted or limit its use, object to its processing, request data portability, withdraw your consent, and/or file a complaint to your local data protection authority.

Whilst we do not keep records of tool inputs or user accounts, there is generally not an awful lot of data that can be obtained, but if you contact us at hhemaantsarkar@yahoo.com we will reply to you within a reasonable time (usually within 30 days).

In California and in other U.S. states personal information is not sold. Some state laws consider advertising cookies as ‘sharing’ or ‘targeted advertising’. To opt out, you can use the link to the cookie settings in our footer, Google Ads Settings or enable a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser.

In India personal data is managed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies. If you want to exercise your rights or file a complaint you should email the address listed above.

9A. Do Not Track

As there is no universal standard for Do Not Track signals, we do not take any action in response to them. Regarding the consent preferences given through our banner and our browser’s Global Privacy Control, we do respect these choices where it is technically possible.

10. Children’s privacy

Pintrendo does not target people who are under the age of 13 (or under 16 if the relevant local law sets a higher age) and we make no deliberate effort to collect any personal information from them. If you think that a child has provided us with some data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

In order to protect the information, we use reasonable technical measures, like encrypting the data and making the processing wherever possible within the browser. Yet, since no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, we can not guarantee absolute security.

12. External links

The website contains links to other websites, for example Pinterest and YouTube, and we can not be held responsible for the content of those sites or the way they deal with privacy.

13. Changes to this policy

The policy can be changed whenever the website and its tools change. The ‘Last updated’ date that is stated above refers to the most recent version. This page will display all major changes.
