Pintrendo (https://pintrendo.com) makes its tools available at no cost to users, and we encourage their free and open use. This Fair Use Policy outlines appropriate and unacceptable use of our tools and content. By using our tools you agree to our Terms and Conditions which this Fair Use Policy supplements.
1. About our free tools
This Fair Use Policy applies to our Pintrendo Pinterest Keyword Tool (including the Pin Annotation Extractor), Pinterest AI Text Detector, Pinterest AI Image Detector, and Pinterest Keyword Clusterer & Board Namer tools.
Individuals and businesses are free to use these tools for personal research or for clients via standard, manual use in their browser. Bloggers, Pinterest managers, small businesses, agencies, and others are all welcome to use our tools.
2. What constitutes fair use
- Use of tools in a manual, non-automated/personal capacity
- Queries and scans that are necessary for the operation of personal sites, projects, or the sites/projects of others
- Saving/exporting results for personal use and sharing results with clients or team-members
3. What constitutes unfair/abusive use
Do not:
- Use automated, scripted, bulk queries, bots, scrapers, crawlers, extensions, or other means to query our tools or backend
- Attempt to scrape or bulk extract keywords/results, including from manually maintained databases
- Use the Annotation Extractor to harvest Pinterest Pins at scale or in other ways beyond analyzing annotations of specific Pins of interest
- Circumvent, attempt to circumvent, or otherwise bypass usage limits, rate limits, or blocks, including via use of multiple devices/computers/accounts/IPs
- Resell, white label, embed, or otherwise offer our tools or results as a good/service/API for others
- Abuse the tools in a way that negatively impacts the experience/function of the tool for others
- Use the AI detectors in a way to falsely accuse or harass others, as results are approximations only and not always accurate (see our Disclaimer for more details)
When in doubt, contact hhemaantsarkar (at) yahoo.com to request permission to engage in a specific activity. We are happy to discuss permissions on a case-by-case basis, especially for higher-volume use or for integration into third-party tools
4. Rate limits/usage limits
The tools may have rate limits in place to ensure fair use and availability for all users. Limits may be applied at any time and may not be announced in advance. Currently approximately 4 searches/minute per visitor.
5. Reusing our content/results
You may quote short excerpts of our articles and tools results with credit and a link back to the original article/resource.
You may share screenshots of your own results in your own educational/enabling resource with credit to Pintrendo.
You may not:
- Copy, republish, redistribute, or reprint our articles, guides, templates, videos, or the Pinterest Blueprint in whole or significant part.
- Use our content, guides, or Pinterest Blueprint to train, fine-tune, or otherwise use for AI models/data/training sets without permission.
- Present any of our content as your own work.
- Our DMCA and Copyright Policy page details our copyright claims and takedown procedures, and our Terms and Conditions govern intellectual property more generally.
6. Enforcement
If you believe that this policy has been violated, we reserve the right to throttle, degrade, or disable access to our tools or services. In the event of policy violations, we may also take other actions permitted by our Terms and Conditions. Where feasible and/or in the case of unintentional violations, we will endeavour to notify users before taking any action.
7. Updates and changes
We may update this policy from time to time as necessary to reflect changes in our tools or traffic patterns. The date at the beginning of this document indicates when this policy was last updated.
