Pintrendo (https://pintrendo.com) values copyright and intellectual property rights and believes that everyone should respect such rights.
This page describes our DMCA policy for submitting copyright complaints, including what you need to do and what you can expect from us. We follow the standards of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and extend our procedures to DMCA notices coming from anywhere.
1. What our site does and does not host
We use our free tools in your browser and do not keep the keywords, Pin URLs, text, or images that you type into our Pinterest Keyword Tools.
We do not host content contributed by others, nor do we have a public community. Pintrendo.com content is largely our own content, tools, guides, and media.
The Pin Annotation Extractor provides only the publicly viewable annotation text for any given Pinterest Pin URL. It does not copy, cache or republicize Pinterest Pins or images. All Pins and content on Pinterest belong to their respective owners and Pinterest.
Let us know if you think anything on our website violates your copyright.
2. Reporting infringement (DMCA notice)
Send a written notice to our designated contact (see section 6) that contains all of the following:
1. Your physical or electronic signature (the owner, or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf).
2. Provide a detailed description of the copyrighted work you say has been directly infringed.
3. The specific webpage (URL) on pintrendo.com where the content is published, so that we can locate it.
4. Your contact details (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
5. A statement you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you have the authority to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright.
Incomplete notices could be considered invalid. Do not submit reports if the reason is for content not found on our website (e.g. Pinterest, YouTube) – please file your complaint with the website host.
3. Next steps
On receiving a valid notice, we may take down or disable access to the material and we may inform the individual who posted or published it. We may even give a copy of your notice, along with your contact details, to that individual.
4. Counter-notice
If you think content was taken down incorrectly or for misidentification, you can file a written counter notice at:
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. What the removed material was and the manner in which it was removed.
3. A good-faith statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe your content was accidentally flagged or mistaken identification.
4. Your name, address and telephone number and a statement that you agree to the jurisdiction of the courts in your area (or if you are outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the sender of the initial notice.
If we get a proper counter-notice, we may have to replace the content after a certain period (usually 10 to 14 business days) unless the person who had the material removed notifies us that they have filed an action.
5. Repeat infringers and false claims
Where appropriate, we will disable repeat infringer accounts. Note that knowingly making false claims of infringement or of a mistaken takedown can have legal consequences, including liability for damages and legal fees under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
6. Notice address
